Heather Taylor originally from Stouffville takes on the “World's Toughest Row” across the Atlantic Ocean in the 2018 Atlantic Challenge to raise awareness and funds for Emmanuel International Canada’s PROMISE project in Malawi for Maternal, Newborn and Child Health. Heathers parents reside in Goodwood Ontario.

The race begins in early December, 2018 with up to 30 teams participating from around the world.
Armed with 90 days of rations, a water maker and two sets of oars Taylor and her crew will row 2,550 nautical miles (4,700km) across the Atlantic Ocean starting from La Gomera in the Canary Islands to Antigua.
She is looking for three females that are adventurous, has physical stamina, mental grit to join her crew on her specialized ocean rowing boat.
