"Whenever you did this for any of my people, no matter how unimportant they seemed, you did it for me."

  Matthew 25:40 CEV

Transforming Lives, For Now and For Eternity

Is God calling you to ministry?

The Lord of the Harvest is calling all of his people to participate in the harvest.  Some are called to work in the fields, ministering directly to those who are suffering.  Others are called to lift up prayers, praise and worship to God for the work of the harvesters.  Still others are called to give of their worldly wealth to support those who have so little, who ask for so little, and are inheritors of the Kingdom.

If God is speaking to you to follow him in ministry, Emmanuel International may be the place He has in mind.

Why Emmanuel International Mission?

EIM offers many opportunities for all of the people of God to serve him.  We need churches that take world-wide missions needs to heart and teach their congregations to respond to the call to ministry in its many forms.  We need people who are responding to God's call to active missionary service as well as those who will actively lift up the work of Emmanuel International in their homes, their places of worship and in their communities.  We need people who will donate funds to support our work - for the financial support of an individual missionary, for special mission projects and emergency response needs, and for the general administrative support of EI's many field locations around the world.  If any of these needs speak to your heart, then you are in the right place at the right time.  The door is open.  Come on in!

EI PIONEER KEN DECKER

Ken Decker, life-long ambassador for Christ, was called home to God on August 21, 2010.  The son of missionaries to Boliva, Ken and his wife Ruth devoted their lives to bringing the love of God to the peoples of South America.

Ken was God's chosen instrument in bringing Emmanuel International to Brazil. A friend of George Middleton--the founder of Emmanuel Relief and Rehabilitation International  (ERRI) --Ken initiated the work in Brazil by sharing the philosophy of ERRI with a small group in Belo Horizonte.  That focus continues today as ERRI seeks to provide ministry to communities by strengthening the local church in spiritual outreach, economic development, disaster relief and rehabilitation.

Ken continued to support the work, visiting teams, discussing strategies including the establishment of the Mission Emmanuel as a Brazilian mission agency. He was also the president of the ERRI International Council for several years.  In honor of his service, his family, in conjuction Emmanuel International Mission, the US Affiliate of ERRI, have established a memorial fund to help continue the work in Brazil, focused primarily on the Amazon Basin.
